Kodi Collective Marketing Execution Services is looking for an individual who is ready to apply their knowledge and skills to expand their role and influence in the field. This role serves the Pontiac, Illinois facility and will serve as a key resource for the company. In this role you will work collaboratively with facility leadership to develop and implement strategic business plans to support the operation and facility team members. Our company is committed to enabling team members to collaborate with other HR team members, HR company leadership, and other company team members in developing and implementing company-wide strategic business initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation and administration of all Strategic HR management programs and policies for the facility and for the company (i.e. employee engagement, recruitment and hiring, promotional practices, wage and salary structure analysis, succession and development planning, performance coaching and management, and communications).
- Responsible for proactive employee relations (including the support of the company’s Open Door Policy and Ombudsman process), communication support, and internal management consultation.
- Responsible for providing guidance and coaching to all team members in relation to HR policies, procedures, and practices and benefits programs.
- Assist in managing Worker’s Compensation Insurance issues, including making recommendations to facilitate the timely closing of claims.
- Plan, coordinate, facilitate and/or assist in implementing training and development activities within the facility (i.e. leadership skills, skills and knowledge development for hourly and salary team members, safety compliance, an new employee onboarding and job training).
- Perform other related duties and participates in special facility and company-wide projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field of study.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Broad knowledge of employment laws, recruitment, EEO/AAP and policy development.
- Proven analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership & communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and abstract thinker
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS programs.
- SHRM Certification or progress towards certification (preferred)
- Ability to communicate in Spanish (preferred)
