Summary of the HR Analyst Role
Location: onsite at 108 E Willow St, Normal, IL
Hours: Generally Mon - Fri during office hours, 37.5 hrs+/week
As an HR Analyst, you will assume primary responsibility for assigned Human Resources functions including hiring, benefits, compensation, HRIS, and legal compliance. You will be expected to communicate effectively and promote collaborative problem solving by demonstrating care and respect in considering the diverse experiences and perspectives of others.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Analyst
- Lead full cycle recruitment for programs, administration, and leadership roles across the agency
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop inclusive job descriptions and outreach strategies that align with our inclusion strategies and overall values
- Assist in the development and administration of agency compensation system, including making salary recommendations for new hires, promotions, and job changes
- Provide consultation and training of benefits to new and existing employees
- Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment regulations
- Maintain positive relationships with HRIS constituents across the agency to ensure proper processing of HR, payroll, and other related functions
- Promote a positive work environment in all employee interactions as well as through project committee work
